Health Services
For more than a century, the American Red Cross has been saving lives through Health Services' education programs. Red Cross trainings include First Aid, CPR/AED, Blood Borne Pathogen, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Swimming, Lifeguarding, Babysitter's Training, and Caregiving Programs.
American Red Cross programs help people live safer and healthier lives. The Red Cross constantly strives to respond to the health and safety concerns of Americans at home, in school and in the workplace. Today's innovative programs also include teaching lay persons and professionals how to use automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to save victims of sudden cardiac arrest.
Last year, over five thousand people enrolled in Monroe County Chapter's Health Services courses. You can help the Red Cross save lives by becoming an instructor or an Authorized Provider, taking a course, or volunteering with your local Monroe County Chapter.
American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED programs are designed to help you learn and remember valuable lifesaving skills and knowledge. We translate the consensus of medical science into practical and easy-to-understand information for the American public.
AED training can save lives. Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED programs are available for any age group and can even be tailored to the needs of specific groups or individuals. Whether you work with children, are looking for training for employees, are a professional rescuer, or simply want to know how to help in an emergency situation, the American Red Cross has a program for you.
