Youth Services
Youth Services Mission Statement
This chapter is committed to developing youth now and for future leadership. In emphasizing the vital role youth have in serving the Red Cross and our community, we will provide a safe, supportive and educational volunteer experience.
Volunteer Now!
Our youth volunteers touch the lives of others in Monroe County by volunteering at numerous community events. As a youth volunteer we have something for everyone. Wether it be working with handicapped children at Stepping Stones Therapeutic Horseback Riding, serving meals to the homeless, providing children's activities at community events, developing relationships with the elderly or partnering with other local agencies to help meet their needs. Our youth volunteers also raise funds for their group and assist with fundraising events for the chapter, as well as helping out with disaster services, blood services and they are given the opportunity to become peer educators in health services.
