On April 30, 2010 the Monroe County Chapter marked its 95th Anniversary.  For 95 years, we have been providing life saving services to Monroe County!  With your help, we hope to be around for at least another 95 years!  Each Red Cross chapter is 100% locally funded and relies on the generosity of its local community to survive.  For 95 years, the good people of the Monroe County have helped our local chapter to provide disaster services, services to military families, blood services, and health and safety training.  Leading up to our 100th anniversary and A CENTURY OF SERVICE, we hope that you will continue to support your local Red Cross.  We're only as strong as our local support!!  THANK YOU for keeping us in mind when you make your charitable donations!!
